I’m sharing a simple reflection exercise, that can help you recognize your successes (in the broadest sense of the word). Whether that’s going for your run (even though it was raining), supporting a loved one, or acing that project at work.
1. Take a moment to write down what you’re most proud of:
- In the past day
- In the past week
- In the past year
2. For each of them, dive one step deeper:
- What did you do in those moments?
- What was the impact?
- How did it make you feel?
3. And if you are really on a roll.. reflect on the reflection exercise:
- How does this exercise make you feel?
- What do you take away from this exercise?
Ideally, find a regular moment (per week/month) to repeat this exercise for maximum impact.
